Relevant rules, regulations and internal policies:
- Any woman working under Planning Department can file complaint related to sexual harassment at workplace through the email ID of the designated person.
- The complaint submitted contains only a brief description of the incident of the sexual harassment at workplace. The ICC is required to initiate inquiry as prescribed under Section 11 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013 by calling upon the complainant to provide detailed complaint along with all the relevant evidences (documentary or otherwise).
- If it is proven that a person has made false complaint, the penalties awarded shall be as per Section 14 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013.
Procedure prescribed for submitting an online complaint:
- Complainant shall submit a brief written online complaint to the email priya.roshni@manipur.gov.in with clearly mentioning “Complaint against Sexual Harassment at Workplace” as subject of the complaint.
- Once a complaint is submitted, it shall be forwarded to the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of the Planning Department having jurisdiction to enquire into the complaint.
- The ICC will take action as prescribed under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013.
- The status of complaint can be enquired through the above email ID or contact number of the designated person.
